Definition: hyperrealistic robot

A robot that emulates a human being in every manner. Unlike the robots in science fiction movies, a hyperrealistic robot is designed to look like a human being with realistic speech, motion and skin. Such robots emulate facial expressions and can even laugh and cry. It could take years, but in time, a hyperrealistic robot may be hard to discern from a real person. See humanoid robot, robot and AI.
